Greenopolis is developed and maintained by Intugreen ApS. As part of the activities in Intugreen we process personal data. This privacy policy describes how we process your data.

In this privacy policy you can read about, how and to what purpose we process your data. You have already or will receive a part of the same data, when you register your data with us.

Consent, before we process your data

Before we process your data, we will ask for your consent for the specific purposes, unless your data has been gathered and processed on another legitimate basis. We will be able to inform you about the legitimate basis, as well as our legitimate interest in processing your personal data. Consent is voluntary, and you can at any time withdraw your consent. Disclosure of your personal data will not happen without your consent.

We do not disclose your personal data to other actors, without your consent. Your data may be disclosed in relation to recruitment.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please send an email to info@intugreen.dk, you’ll receive confirmation from our data responsible employee. You should be aware that withdrawing your consent may change the way we communicate with you, also that we may not be able to provide you with services like newsletters in the future.

How to exercise your rights

Right to insight:

You have the right at any time to be informed of what data we process about you, where it comes from and what we use it for. You can also be informed how long we store your personal data and who receives data about you, to the extent that we pass on data in Denmark and abroad. If you, as the registrant, wish to exercise your right of access in connection with the personal data submitted for a given purpose, you as the registrant must do the following:

Right to rectification

As registrant, you have the right to have the information we process about you corrected. If, as registrant, you wish to exercise your right of rectification in connection with the personal data provided for a given purpose, you must do the following:

The registrant can send an e-mail to info@intugreen.dk, which is subsequently processed by the data controller. The registrant subsequently receives a confirmation with the information recorded in connection with the correction of data.

Right to delete

As registrant in certain cases, you have the right to delete the information we process about you, however, there are cases where we have a legal obligation to store it. We have routines that make us delete personal data that no longer serves a purpose or that there is a legal obligation to store and process.

We delete your personal data when they are no longer needed for the purpose that was the reason for our collection, processing and storage of your data.

If you believe that the personal data we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.

If, as registrant, you wish to exercise your right to delete the personal data provided in connection with a given purpose, you must do the following:

The registrant can send an e-mail to info@intugreen.dk, which is subsequently processed by the data controller.

Upon receipt of the registrant’s request for deletion, the data controller assesses whether there are exceptions for deletion. In the event that the data controller finds an exception for deletion, the data controller shall, without undue delay, provide reasons and justification for the exception. If there are no exceptions, the data controller shall delete the registrant’s personal data provided in connection with this declaration of consent and notify the data subject accordingly.

Right to object

As registrant, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.

If you, as registrant, wish to exercise your right to object to the processing of the personal data provided in connection with a given purpose, you must do the following:

The registrant can send an email to info@intugreen.dk and exercise his right to object to the processing of the information that the company has registered in connection with this declaration of consent, as well as the reason for the objection. Subsequently, this is processed by the data controller. Personal data will not be processed for the purpose for which it was collected as long as there is an unfinished objection to processing.

If your objection is justified, data controllers ensure that the processing of your personal data ceases until a decision on the outcome of the objection is available.

Right to limitation of treatment

As registrant, you have the right to request a restriction against our processing of your personal data.

If, as registrant, you wish to exercise your right to restriction against processing, for the personal data provided in connection with a given purpose, you must do the following:

The registrant can write an email to info@intugreen.dk, stating that the registrant wishes to exercise his right to restriction against treatment. Data controllers then ensure that personal data is no longer processed in the company or by any data processors until the restriction ceases.

Right to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If, as registrant, you wish to exercise your right to withdraw your consent, you must do the following:

The registrant can write an email to info@intugreen.dk, stating that the registrant wishes to withdraw the consent, as well as the purpose for which the consent was given. Data controllers then ensure that personal data is not processed for the purpose for which it was collected. Or ensure deletion if there are no exceptions or legal obligations for deletion.

Right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority

If the registrant wishes to exercise the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

The registrant can submit a complaint to the supervisory authority by contacting the supervisory authority. In Denmark the supervisory authority is the Danish Data Protection Agency. On the Danish Data Protection Agency’s website, it is possible to file a complaint.

The data controller’s duty to provide information

If you, as registrant, have exercised your rights to any correction or deletion of personal data or restriction of processing carried out in accordance with Article 16, Article 17 (1). Article 18 (1) and Article 18, the data controller shall notify all recipients to whom personal data have been transferred so that the necessary actions are taken by the parties to ensure the data subject’s rights.

We regularly update personal information whenever possible

We check that the personal information we process about you is not incorrect or misleading. We also make sure to update your personal data regularly. Several of our services depend on the information being correct and up to date, we therefore ask you to inform us of any inaccuracies or changes in your personal information.

We use your email and name in connection with sending out newsletters, we of course only process the information for which you have given consent.

Processing security – organizational and technical

What organizational measures have been taken to secure information provided.

We protect your personal information and have internal rules and processes regarding information security.

We have put in place instructions and measures that protect your personal information from being destroyed, lost or altered, from unauthorized disclosure, and from unauthorized access or knowledge of it.

Information regarding newsletters are sent from the website directly to our newsletter system and web backend.

Technical safety measures

The website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL is an encryption protocol and means that only the sender and recipient can read the information that is sent in between. So you can enter your information securely on our website.

Organizational measures:

To secure your information in the best possible way, we have set up the following processes in connection with the people who may have contact with your information. Only persons acting on direct instructions from data controllers can access information in the systems, this is ensured by internal controls and processes, and necessary training.

The EU Horizon 2020

Greenopolis is developed by  Intugreen in cooperation with teachers, researchers, schools, and partners of the REGREEN research project. 

REGREEN is a research project that promotes research, education and innovation within nature-based solutions, with the aim of developing methods, learning materials and tools to develop sustainable cities in Europe and China.

REGREEN is coordinated by Aarhus University. The project started in 2019 and will last until 2024. The REGREEN project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the grant agreement No 821016.
